LVVRS

LVVRS (pronounced "Lovers") is a Louisiana-based band that blends infectious pop hooks with rock 'n' roll swagger in their dynamic performances. Formed on Valentine's Day 2018, the band draws inspiration from artists like Maroon 5, INXS, T. Rex, and The 1975. Frontman and guitarist River Gibson, known for his commanding vocal presence reminiscent of Michael Hutchence, leads the band in creating a cinematic and anthemic sound that combines gritty guitar riffs with club-ready beats.

Their debut EP, Midnight Fantasy (2024), made waves with singles like "Iconic" receiving alternative radio play on WZRH-FM. The music video for "Fever Night" won "Best Music Video" at the 2024 Josie Music Awards at Nashville's Grand Ole Opry. Their music has also been featured in Netflix shows like Love is Blind and The Ultimatum, and the band made a cameo in the Zac Efron film Iron Claw.

Today LVVRS, consisting of River Gibson, Brenon Wilson, and Zac Lyons, continues to captivate audiences with their electrifying stage presence. The band performs over 60 shows annually at venues ranging from intimate clubs to major festivals. They are set to make their second appearance at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on April 25, 2025, following the release of their sophomore EP, Heaven and the Heartland, in May 2025.
