This city truly enjoys an embarrassment of musical riches. Just when you thought you'd heard it all, here's a nice little twist on live music performance.
A Constellation of Cellos will be part of the atmosphere at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art tomorrow night during their annual gala event, titled O What A Night.
Cellist Helen Gillet organized a group of fellow cello players on Friday in preparation for the “installation,” which in fact places each cellist at a different location throughout the museum while they perform various styles of music, ranging from classical pieces to the avant-garde compositions of Ms. Gillet herself.
