An interactive map of every record store on Earth

The good people at Discogs have put together an interactive map featuring EVERY brick-and-mortar record store on the planet. This is truly an impressive feat, and helps cross the language barrier that arises during travel.

Next time you're in another domestic city and jonesing to do a little crate digging, or seeking rare gems in cities like Tokyo (the most record shop-dense city on Earth), Leeds, Lagos, or Mumbai, this map has you covered.

The most remote store listed is a cluster of CD stalls above a produce market in the tiny Pacific island Kingdom of Tonga. The northernmost is in Alta, Norway and the southernmost is in Invercargill, New Zealand.

Check out the map at this link.

And yes, New Orleans is well represented.
