The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation is now accepting applications from Louisiana musicians and music industry workers for the Jazz & Heritage Music Relief Fund. Apply by March 31st. The grant is meant to support those who have lost a significant amount of income due to the shutdown of live events and not found supplemental employment and continue to experience economic hardships.

Musicians must apply by March 31 at 12am CT. Musicians should read full eligibility guidelines and apply at jazzandheritage.org/apply.

Louisiana music industry workers must apply by April 6 at 12am CT. Read the full eligibility guidelines and apply at jazzandheritage.org/industry.

Musicians and music industry workers who applied for this fund in 2020 ARE allowed to apply for this new round of funding. Applications for other cultural groups are forthcoming.

The Jazz & Heritage Music Relief Fund is a statewide relief fund to support Louisiana's music community who have lost income amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The collapse of the live music industry has affected not only musicians, but thousands of music industry workers and culture bearers who work alongside them. The pandemic has triggered a "domino effect" in the music sector with cancelled music events disrupting income for so many.
