On Thursday, February 4, Maurice White, legendary founder of Earth, Wind & Fire, died at the age of 74. I paid tribute to his influential work and sound by playing an all-Maurice White edition of my Soul Power show on February 6. I decided to highlight only my favorite EWF songs that featured his lead vocals, as well as a few non-EWF songs that White produced. In the course of two hours, I couldn't fit everything I wanted to in, but hope that you enjoy it all the same. Long live the great Maurice White, the soul of Earth, Wind & Fire.
