The students from McDonogh 35's brass band, led by Mr. Lawrence Rawlins, will join us in the studio for the next episode of School Groove, live from the WWOZ studio.

School Groove is a series of live in-studio performances by middle and high school students from the Greater New Orleans area.

Our show hosts sit down with the band leaders to talk about the band, what it's like to be young musician, and about the music education opportunities in New Orleans. We also make a $1000 donation to the schools that appear.
